Interpreting Messages Or Signs From Animals

Animals can often give messages to us through signs…
BUT…
The signs or messages are not ALWAYS as easy for us to read as THESE are!

OK I just wanted to have a little fun with this subject!

There are however many signs and messages being sent to us every single day, and we are at times not open to receiving them.

That’s because we may be too busy being human-doings to see a lot of the signs or messages that the Creator and the animals are sending our way.

So, learning to read and intuitively interpret what they are telling us can help to answer many questions that we may be sending forth to the Creator or Universe.

On a daily basis no matter where you are living, animals messages can be found. A person does not always have to be in nature to receive messages or to see signs from animals. If for instance, you are living in a City environment, don’t worry; the animals are sending messages to you there too! It just takes tuning in a little to become open so that the messages from your guides or animals around you can flow more easily to you. It is simply a matter of paying more attention, to what is happening around to see all the guidance and signs you are receiving.

When interpreting signs from animals it is something that is done through the heart. An opening of the heart is a must if you are wanting to begin to see the signs that are being sent. During the day I do a quick and easy exercise to open my heart and mind, this can be done as often as you feel the need to.
It helps me to clear any blockages that I think might be cutting of my connection to the animals or my higher self.

Quick & Easy Way To Open Your Heart Connection
First, I sit quietly in a chair
Next, I take 4 deep breaths. Now, 4 is a sacred number for me, it might help you to pick a number that is important for you, this will make the visualization more meaningful for you.
Hold each breath for 4 to 5 seconds (or for as long as it is comfortable for you) and then slowly release it, like I am blowing out a candle.
With each breath I release, I see myself blowing out any blockages or doubts that are in my mind or that I might be feeling.
If there is a specific place on my body (for example: my stomach is tied in knots or my shoulders are tense) then, when I blow out the breath, I take the breath IN from the place of tension and then blow out and as I am blowing out I focus on that area ad the release the breath and blow OUT through the place of tension.
So, as I am blowing out, the tension flows out of the body with the breath.

Now notice how good that feels!

This process slows down my heart, breathing and it calms me.
The blowing out the blockages, gives the feeling that I am actively doing something that is releasing my blocks.
After the 4th breathe, (r how ever many breaths it takes for you.
I then breathe normally and deeply.
Then, I bring my attention to my heart area, and I envision small doors in front of my heart,
Have fun with this part!
The doors can look however you want them to.
They can be French Doors, or Glass Doors, or they can be made from Silver or Gold, and as ornate as you would like.
Next, I envision these doors opening outward.
I take a few moments to feel how GOOD that feels, for me there is always a small release of tension at this point because I am totally opening myself to the Universe.
There is no “holding back”, it can be quite a freeing feeling.

Then, I say or think, something that tells my guides and the Universe that I am ready to receive their messages.
There is no “Set” sentence here, just go with whatever feel right to you.
For example:
“I am open to all your teachings and signs, I am opened to all guidance, because it is all for my greater good”

With your heart opened in this way, you will begin to see the signs and messages throughout the day. Once the heart is opened you will be amazed at the signs you begin to see almost immediately.
The signs and messages, can be something as simple as someone all of sudden talking to you about an animal. Hearing a song that is about an animal.
Taking a walk and finding something from and animal. Many of these are sign that are being left for you by the animals and the universe.
Once you begin to see the signs, you can start the process of interpreting.

Interpreting Your Signs and Messages
Ask the animal or your inner being what are your trying to tell me go with the first thing that resonates with you, this is using your intuition, which we all have and all use.

This is all done intuitively, the more you do it the easier it will become, and the feeling of being connected it unspeakable. Now because everyone’s experience’s and outlooks are different one sign can mean something to one person and another thing to another person. This is personal thing, ask what does this mean to YOU.

Be patient.
be opened.
remember to have fun with it.
and just be willing to see what the Universe is sending to you.

Guidance is just an open heart away.

Flower Essences For Pets: Spotlight On Larch

When I first started to use flower essences, I was very much drawn to them. Something about their powerful simplicity really spoke to me. I then became a certified Flower Therapist and I have been using flower essences with my animal & human clients as well as teaching classes about the essences for the last 12 years and I love them!

Other “Spotlight” Flower Essence Posts…

So far, I’ve put the Spotlights on, MimulusHeatherHoneysuckleCrab Apple, and Five Flower Emergency Essence. In each I talked about how these essences help to bring about re-alignment, emotional re-balancing, and Well-Being to your animal friend(s).

In my free booklet… “

“25 Flower Essences For a Happier Pet”

In my free e-book, I describe 25 essences that I use regularly. As well as sharing some of my secret combinations that I’ve been using for years, that I’ve found extremely helpful in my work with animals. It is easy enough to download, simply click on the link ”Flower Essence Book Download” and follow the instructions.

What are Flower Essences?

Essentially the way they work are at a being’s vibrational and emotions levels. The essences are vibrating at a higher speed and more POSITIVE level, then that of the current negative behavior. When taken, the essence opens up the blockage(s) and similar to a turning fork that is struck and put in a glass of water, re-tunes the body to the more positive vibrational level. This is bringing BACK an animal’s natural feeling of Well-Being and thus positive emotions and behaviors with it.

I have personally found that since an animal’s natural state is to be in a constant state of allowing and Well-Being and that they gravitate naturally towards nature and her healing power that results in animals are incredibly fast and can be very dramatic.

Sounds great! Where Do I Get Them?

At the bottom of this post is a link to a my online store where I sell my essence line called “Flowering Hills Essences”.

Please remember! Flower Essences are wonderful tools. However they are NOT a substitute for veterinary care. ALWAYS consult your Veterinarian on any cases dealing with your pet’s health even if you just suspect there might be a problem!

So, let’s continue to look at flower essences with putting…

The Spotlight on Larch…

For me personally Larch is a Bach Flower that is near and dear to my heart.
This was the first Bach Flower I ever took. It is the one that gave me the confidence that I needed when I started my professional career. To say this Bach Flower opened the door so that I could find my bliss is putting it mildly.

Larch is the remedy that Dr. Edward Bach called “The Self-Confidence Flower”. He discovered that this particular flower deals with the souls ability for
self-confidence and self-esteem.

I often give this Bach Flower for either a short-term situation, such as: shortly before a show or competition. To a long-term situation such as: getting over rescue, adoption or shelter situations. Now self-confidence and self-esteem issues are not always easily recognizable in animals but below are some example, which might help you to decide if Larch is right for your animal friends.

What are some common Larch uses?

•Adopting and animal that has been in a shelter for either a long or short period of time. Even thought the shelter may have been wonderful, it is the uncertainty from day to day, of “Will this be the day I find my home?” That can be hard on the self-esteem.

•As a show or competition draws nearer, your animal friend seems slightly unsure of themselves

•After a show or competition, your animal friend “seems a little down”. This could be your animal friend just getting the vibes/thoughts from others, that they did not achieve what was wanted. What happens instead of the animal having the feeling “Well, better luck next time!” They begin to feel a little down on themselves. Holding the head down, looking ashamed, worried or concerned, holding the tail between legs, are all possible indications.

•In their new home situation the animal seems “unsure” of their new surroundings. Hiding under beds, in closets, keeping to the back of the stall, etc. These could be a signs they are lacking the confidence and assuredness that they will eventually become capable of getting used to their new home.

•Your animal friend has come from a rescue or abusive situation. In both cases, depending on the severity the animal’s self-confidence and self-esteem could be low.

•Training seems particularly difficult for your animal pal. They seem to get discouraged easily and not adapting to the new techniques easily. This Bach Flower Combined with Chestnut bud could help with that.

•Animals that are constantly being constantly dominated by the other animals in the household. Now, with animals yes, there is a “pecking order” or hierarchy. However an animal will sometimes become too dominated, to the point where it s as if their position in the hierarchy does not count. Even in a pack, a herd, a family, each individual’s ideas and thoughts come together and are acknowledged. But the animal that requires Larch does not seem to even try to bring their personality or ideas to the “table” because they feel “less than”.

•The animal does not seem to participate in “family activities”. They hold themselves apart and stay on the outskirts, when the other animals in the household are playing.

These are naming only a few examples.

Tip: Consulting your Animal Communicator to verify that these are the problems is also a very good idea!

How do I give Bach Flowers to my animal friend(s)?

Normally putting the drops in the animals water works very well, and if you have a multiple animal household, don’t worry, the essences will not do anything to the other animals, unless they need it.

For small animals (cats, dogs): Give 2-3 drops in their water, from each bottle and then put new drops in whenever you change the water.

For bigger animals (Horses, Cows, Llamas, etc) anywhere from 8-16 drops on a slice of bread, or muffins have been know to work too! Or take an apple, cut it either in halves or quarters, then use a knife of stick to make small holes into each slice and then put the essences into each of the holes. That should do the trick!

If you do not notice even the SLIGHTEST of changes after a 24-72 hour period then it might mean your friend will need to try another essence.

Where do I find the Flower essences?

I have my own line of flower essences! My “Flowering Hills” Essences  can be found in my online store.

Communicating with Animals through Music- By Janet Roper

Janet Roper is a fellow Animal Communicator, and Musician.

We met on twitter a few months ago, and we decided to do a blog post exchange.

I picked this post because it gives such a interesting and unique perspective about communicating with animals.

Thank you Janet so much for letting me post this!

I hope you all enjoy it.

I love telling people I have the best job: I horse around and fiddle around! When I’m not working with animals and/or their people partners, I perform with my violin Lucy at elder care facilities in the new and growing field of Music Wellness.

Sometimes I combine my two passions and end up doing Music Wellness for animals.

Last summer I had an interesting experience at the barn where my horse Shiloh is boarded. One of the women has a racehorse off the track, and even though she’s worked with him a couple of years, he can still be a handful. She had turned him out in a paddock to enjoy the beautiful MN evening.

I happened to have my violin at the barn that evening. Shiloh was out grazing with his buddies, so I pulled up a chair, made myself comfortable, and started to play my violin.

The ex-racehorse was probably 50 yards away from me. As soon as he heard the music, he became agitated, pawing the ground and wildly throwing his head looking for that mysterious noise.

I noticed his reaction – it would have been hard to miss – and stopped playing. This puzzled him, and he stopped his wild contortions.

As soon as he calmed down, I began playing a different, calming song. This time he started to charge the fence.

I stopped, gave him a chance to calm down, and when he did, I started playing yet a different soothing song. He was becoming calmer in his movements and more relaxed in his demeanor.

We continued playing our game. While playing for him, I gradually moved closer and closer. He began to sway and ‘dance’ to the music. When the music stopped, he would look at me, saying, ‘Come on, I’m having a good time here. Keep making that sound!’ After approximately 40 minutes, our game was finished and I was standing close enough to him that he could touch my violin with his nose.

Thanks to the calming effects of music, the wild ex-racehorse was as docile as a baby lamb as he was led back to the barn that evening!

Harmony,

Janet Roper

Reiki and Pets: a Reiki Bubble

I SO enjoy sending Reiki bubbles to people and animals.
This is something that I have done since I first became attuned to Reiki in 2003.
I just finished sending one and moment ago to a 6 month old kitten that is recovering from surgery today.
What a wonderful feeling it is to be able to do that.

A Reiki bubble is the gathering of energy channeled from Mother Earth and then through the Practitioner in a shape of a bubble. This bubble can be filled with many different things, love, healing energy, calming energy, or thoughts, good intentions, strength, laughter or joy, anything that feels right at the moment.
Now this might be different from Reiki Practitioner to Reiki Practitioner, it all depends on how each person was taught to do their Reiki bubble.

When someone wants a bubble sent to either a person or animal I try to always find out some things:

The name of the animal or person
Where they are (the exact address is helpful and the pet or person sometimes feel the effects faster)
If they are receptive to receiving the Reiki (if it is an animal this is where being a Animal Communicator comes in handy!)
What the trouble is that they are having (what they are recovering from or dealing with in their lives)

In order to do a Reiki Bubble, one has to be Reiki attuned.

Over the years, I have gotten some very interesting feedback on how Reiki bubble have effected people and pets.

•Some people and pets had to immediately lie down and then seem to sleep extremely heavily. (Now depending on HOW heavy some drooling may have occurred!).

•People and pets all of a suddenly having this wonderful energizing surge and feeling totally refreshed and revitalized.

•The feeling of tingling sensations all over the body.

•Feelings of tranquility and serenity washing over the pet or person, some clients will say their pets became almost Zen-like or extremely calm.

•Warm or Cold sensations throughout the body. Then the sensation becoming focused on the part of the body where the discomfort is.

That is to name a few, each being is different, and each reaction is different, but they are always a pleasant experience for all.

Then, there have been times where I have been blessed to be a part of an animal’s transitioning. The pets were able to gently, finish their transitions without fear or pain, in complete comfort.

Using all that I have studied, Bach Flowers, Reiki, TTOUCH, Animal Communication, these to me are gifts. I am blessed to be able that I am able to use them and, I very much appreciate them!

The Buffalo Medicine Card and Abundance of Contrast

I was shuffling my Medicine Card deck the other day and a card flew out

For those who don’t know these are a set wonderful cards created by talented artist Jamie Sans and David Carson.

The card the flew out was Buffalo.
I stared at it for a moment a little startled, I have had this deck for about 7 years now, and I have yet to pull, pick or come across Buffalo.

As a sacred pipe carrier, and as a Native American, I know what powerful medicine Buffalo carries. As an adopted member of a PLAINS tribe I know what Buffalo means.

There is a wonderful story about White Buffalo Calf Woman that has been told many times.
But, I especially like John Fire Lame Deer rendition of the story.

So, for a few seconds I found myself staring at the card, then I became excited and I picked it up.

A tiny thread of electric went from the card and up my arm.
I KNEW that it was the right card for me, that it was the right time for me, and I opened my Medicine Card book and read what Buffalo represented and the book said: Prayer & Abundance.

Abundance, Now that was a word that I have been thinking about that word a lot lately
(there are no coincidences).
The Buffalo Medicine Card is about abundance. It says: “that abundance is present in your life when ALL relations are honored as sacred”.

I thought about that and found it tied in so wonderfully with the Abraham-Hicks recording that I had been listening to. Abraham had been talking about life being all about the contrast and why we have it in our lives.

Then I started to really think, yes all relations to the animals should ALWAYS be thought of as important and needed, but what about the relations between people.

The relations that we don’t deem as being so sacred and great. The neighbor next door that plays their stereo too loud, the woman in the store that walked into you and did not say sorry. The boss that never seems satisfied with the work. The father that did not love enough. The mother that might have drank too much, the dog that gave you such joy as a child, the cat that ALWAYS knew when you needed her. The horse that you used to go to and tell all your secrets to. ALL of these relations are sacred.

Sacred? even the “not so good stuff?” yeah I think so…..stay with me on this……

They are ALL sacred because they show us what we WANT and what we do NOT want from our lives and all of them, all of them helped us to grow as a person, to be the unique, marvelous person that we are today. For that reason alone they are sacred.

The abundance of contrast of life is something where we think if people would just do THAT, the world would be so much better, if they would not do THIS, the world would be so much better, but all of it gives us contrast so that we know what we DO want.

Besides, if everyone always did everything right how would we grow?

This is what I got from Buffalo.

I feel like I will be continuing to work with Buffalo a lot that she is now a power animal for me and that if I listen she will show me even more amazing insights.

White Buffalo Woman Bringer Of The Peace Pipe

John Fire Lame Deer was a Lakota Holy man.

His book “Lame Deer, Seeker of Visions”

was written with Richard Erdoes in 1972.

One summer so long ago that nobody knows how long, the Oceti-Shakowin, the seven sacred council fires of the Lakota Oyate, the nation, came together and camped. The sun shone all the time, but there was no game and the people were starving. Every day they sent scouts to look for game, but the scouts found nothing.

Early one morning the chief sent two of his young men to hunt for game. They went on foot, because at that time the Sioux didn’t yet have horses. They searched everywhere but could find nothing. Seeing a high hill, they decided to climb it in order to look over the whole country. Halfway up, they saw something coming toward them from far off, but the figure was floating instead of walking. From this they knew that the person was waken, holy.

At first they could make out only a small moving speck and had to squint to see that it was a human form. But as it came nearer, they realized that it was a beautiful young woman, more beautiful than any they had ever seen, with two round, red dots of face paint on her cheeks. She wore a wonderful white buckskin outfit, tanned until it shone a long way in the sun. It was embroidered with sacred and marvelous designs of porcupine quill, in radiant colors no ordinary woman could have made. This wakan stranger was Ptesan-Wi, White Buffalo Woman. In her hands she carried a large bundle and a fan of sage leaves. She wore her blue-black hair loose except for a strand at the left side, which was tied up with buffalo fur. Her eyes shone dark and sparkling, with great power in them.

The two young men looked at her open-mouthed. One was overawed, but the other desired her body and stretched his hand out to touch her. This woman was lila wakan, very sacred, and could not be treated with disrespect. Lightning instantly struck the brash young man and burned him up, so that only a small heap of blackened bones was left. Or as some say that a cloud suddenly covered him, and within it he was eaten up by snakes that left only his skeleton, just as a man can be eaten up by lust.

To the other scout who had behaved rightly, the White Buffalo Woman said: “Good things I am bringing, something holy to your nation. A message I carry for your people from the buffalo nation. Go back to the camp and tell the people to prepare for my arrival. Tell your chief to put up a medicine lodge with twenty-four poles. Let it be made holy for my coming.”

This young hunter returned to the camp. He told the chief, he told the people, what the sacred woman had commanded. After four days they saw the White Buffalo Woman approaching, carrying her bundle before her. Her wonderful white buckskin dress shone from afar. The chief, Standing Hollow Horn, invited her to enter the medicine lodge. She went in and circled the interior sunrise. The chief addressed her respectfully, saying: “Sister, we are glad you have come to instruct us.”

She told him what she wanted done. In the center of the tipi they were to put up an owanka wakan, a sacred altar, made of red earth, with a buffalo skull and a three-stick rack for a holy thing she was bringing. They did what she directed, and she traced a design with her finger on the smoothed earth of the altar. She shows them how to do all this, then circled the lodge again sunrise. Halting before the chief, she now opened the bundle. the holy thing it contained was the Chanupa, the sacred pipe. She held it out to the people and let them look at it. She was grasping the stem with her right hand and the bowl with her left, and thus the pipe has been held ever since.

Again the chief spoke, saying: “Sister, we are glad. We have had no meat for some time. All we can give you is water.” They dipped some wacanga, sweet grass, into a skin bag of water and gave it to her, and to this day the people dip sweet grass or an eagle wing in water and sprinkle it on a person to be purified.

The White Buffalo Woman showed the people how to use the pipe. She filled it with chan-shasha, red willow-bark tobacco. She walked around the lodge four times after the manner of Anpetu-Wi, the great sun. This represented the circle without end, the sacred hoop, and the road of life. The woman placed a dry buffalo chip on the fire and lit the pipe with it. This was peta-owihankeshini, the fire without end, and the flame to be passed on from generation to generation. She told them that the smoke rising from the bowl was Tunkashila’s breath, the living breath of the great Grandfather Mystery.

The White Buffalo Woman showed the people the right way to pray, the right words and the right gestures. She taught them how to sing the pipe-filling song and how to lift the pipe up to the sky, toward Grandfather, and down toward Grandmother Earth, and then to the four directions of the universe.

“With this holy pipe,” she said, “you will walk like a living prayer. With your feet resting upon the earth and the pipe stem reaching into the sky, your body forms a living bridge between the Sacred Beneath and the Sacred Above. Wakan Tanka smiles upon us, because now we are as one: earth, sky, all living things, the two-legged, the four-legged, the winged ones, the trees, and the grasses. Together with the people, they are all related, one family. The pipe holds them all together.”

“Look at this bowl,” said the White Buffalo Woman. “Its stone represents the buffalo, but also the flesh and blood of the red man. The buffalo represents the universe and the four directions, because he stands on four legs, for the four ages of man. The buffalo was put in the west by Wakan Tanka at the making of the world, to hold back the waters. Every year he loses one hair, and in every one of the four ages he loses a leg. The Sacred Hoop will end when all the hair and legs of the great buffalo are gone, and the water comes back to cover the Earth.

The wooden stem of this Chanupa stands for all that grows on the earth. Twelve feathers hanging from where the stem- the backbone- joins the bowl- the skull- are from Wanblee Galeshka, the spotted eagle, the very sacred who is the Great Spirit’s messenger and the wisest of all cry out to Tunkashila. Look at the bowl: engraved in it are seven circles of various sizes. They stand for the seven ceremonies you will practice with this pipe, and for the Ocheti Shakowin, the seven sacred campfires of our Lakota nation.”

The White Buffalo Woman then spoke to the women, telling them that it was the work of their hands and the fruit of their bodies which kept the people alive. “You are from the mother earth,” she told them. “What you are doing is as great as what warriors do.”

And therefore the sacred pipe is also something that binds men and women together in a circle of love. It is the one holy object in the making of which both men and women have a hand. The men carve the bowl and make the stem; the women decorate it with bands of colored porcupine quills. When a man takes a wife, they both hold the pipe at the same time and red cloth is wound around their hands, thus tying them together for life.

The White Buffalo Woman had many things for her Lakota sisters in her sacred womb bag; corn, wasna (pemmican), wild turnip. She taught how to make the hearth fire. She filled a buffalo paunch with cold water and dropped a red-hot stone into it. “This way you shall cook the corn and the meat,” she told them.

The White Buffalo Woman also talked to the children, because they have an understanding beyond their years. She told them that what their fathers and mothers did was for them, that their parents could remember being little once, and that they, the children, would grow up to have little ones of their own. She told them: “You are the coming generation, that’s why you are the most important and precious ones. Some day you will hold this pipe and smoke it. Some day you will pray with it.”

She spoke once more to all the people: “The pipe is alive; it is a red being showing you a red life and a red road. And this is the first ceremony for which you will use the pipe. You will use it to Wakan Tanka, the Great Mystery Spirit. The day a human dies is always a sacred day. The day when the soul is released to the Great Spirit is another. Four women will become sacred on such a day. They will be the ones to cut the sacred tree, the can-wakan, for the sun dance.”

She told the Lakota that they were the purest among the tribes, and for that reason Tunkashila had bestowed upon them the holy Chanupa. They had been chosen to take care of it for all the Indian people on this turtle continent.

She spoke one last time to Standing Hollow Horn, the chief, saying, “Remember: this pipe is very sacred. Respect it and it will take you to the end of the road. The four ages of creation are in me; I am the four ages. I will come to see you in every generation cycle. I shall come back to you.”

The sacred woman then took leave of the people, saying: “Toksha ake wacinyanktin ktelo, I shall see you again.”

The people saw her walking off in the same direction from which she had come, outlined against the red ball of the setting sun. As she went, she stopped and rolled over four times. The first time, she turned into a black buffalo; the second into a brown one; the third into a red one; and finally, the fourth time she rolled over, she turned into a white female buffalo calf. A white buffalo is the most sacred living thing you could ever encounter.

The White Buffalo Woman disappeared over the Horizon. Sometime she might come back. As soon as she had vanished, buffalo in great herds appeared, allowing themselves to be killed so that the people might survive. And from that day on, our relations, the buffalo, furnished the people with everything they needed, meat for their food, skins for their clothes and tipis, bones for their many tools.

Two very old tribal pipes are kept by the Looking Horse family at Eagle Butte in South Dakota. One of them is the Sacred Pipe brought to the people by White Buffalo Woman.

15 Previously Undocumented Species of Toads found in Tanzania

One of the amazing new species of beings fund in TanzaniaOne of the amazing new species of beings found in Tanzania

I just came across this wonderful news from the BBC.

Last month, 15 previously undocumented species of Toads were found in Tanzania.

Fantastic isn’t he?

This world is so wonderful and so amazing, there are so many fantastic things in it if we just take the time to get quiet and look.

Now, the toad might not be your favorite animal but just look at the COLORS of some of these little guys.

and maybe think about it like this….

Tree Frog

Tree Frog

Frogs, Toads, they are all representatives of the Water Nation, water is cleansing and pure.

Some Cultures believe that the toads and frogs are the rainmakers of the world. That their songs are Rain Songs.

The song of the frogs and toads, lull us to sleep in the country, it would not be a Summer Dusk and Sunset without their concerts in the background.

Honeysuckle is  called “The Past Flower”. This particular flower deals with the ability to adapt. I often give this Bach Flower to animals who are having problems adjusting to a new routine in their lives. Honeysuckle is also great for helping animals make the adjustment to any new situations.

What are some common Honeysuckle uses?

•Adopting a new animal friend, and you want to help them adapt to the new surroundings quicker and easier.

•Your animal friend seems “Homesick” for their previous human companion

(ex: howling or whining).

•Your animal friend does a great deal of moaning in their sleep and does not seem unable to sleep restfully.

•They keep doing old patterns of behavior that are not longer warranted anymore. (Cringing, flinching, pacing, running away)

•There is a history of their coming from an abusive past, and they seem bothered or even traumatized by it.

•Your animal friend reacts suddenly and strongly to a certain type of person(s)
(small children, men or women with high voices scare them)

•Before any MAJOR change, such as:
Moving into a new home, a child leaving for college that your animal is very close to, boarding your animal and they may become “Homesick” (TIP: leave the bottle with the kennel personnel so they can give it to your animal while you are gone), Introducing a new animal into the household.
You get the picture

•Their previous owner(s) moved away or passed away.

•The animal seems to have a hard time adjusting to new routines (like a new form of riding, or going to a different dog run that they had been going to for years).

•Your new animal friend seems to be having problems adjusting to their new home or boarding situations (in cases of horses).

There are to name only a few.

Tip: Consulting your Animal Communicator to verify that these are the problems is also a good idea!

Flower Essences For Pets: Spotlight On Five Flower Emergency Essence

The Spotlight on Five Essence Remedy…

This is a combination of 5 different essences: Cherry Plum, Clematis, Impatiens, Rock Rose, and Star of Bethlehem. All of which deal with the negative behavior that very often accompany stressful, or traumatic situations. For example, panic (rock rose) , the need to deny reality or the situation happening (clematis), sever exaggerated need to act immediately (impatiens), losing consciousness (star of bethlehem), and fear of losing control (cherry plum).

It is a very good essence to have around, I had gotten into the habit of keeping a bottle of  it with me all the times.
But remember to ALWAYS call your Vet in any cases of emergency!

What are common Rescue Remedy uses?:

•Before surgery or after (this can include teeth cleaning).

•Before going to the vet (for just a regular office visit).

•After an animal has had a fight with another.

•Before/During or After a lighting or thunderstorm (many animals do not deal well with lightning or thunder they go into what could be called a minor shock state)

•Before any MAJOR change, here are some examples:
moving into a new home, going for a ride in the car, a child leaving for college that your animal is very close to, boarding your animal (TIP: leave the bottle with the kennel personnel so they can give it to your animal while you are gone), before showing your animal, before flying with your animal, Introducing a new animal into the household.
You get the picture

•After an accident (BUT Please remember folks.. an animal in pain EVEN your own, could bite, so be careful and if you have ANY doubts AT ALL then DO NOT DO THIS!) Please also CALL your VET

•After Insect or dog bites (again if your animal is in pain remember they could bite YOU! so any doubts don’t do it)

•If your animal gets a sunburn (Yes you read right, animals can get sunburn. Lighter colored animals as well as dogs and cats with white ears can get sunburned on the tips and edges of the ears.

• For bruises or burns

• After an allergic reaction, or stroke

•A bird flying into a window

•When an animal becomes sick and you don’t know the reason (give the animal some drops, then immediately call your vet!)

How do I give Remedies to my animal friend(s)?:

Normally putting the drops in the animals water works very well, and if you have a multiple animal household, don’t worry, the essences will not do anything to the other animals, unless they need it.

For small animals (cats, dogs): Give 2-3 drops in their water, from each bottle and then put new drops in whenever you change the water.

Children and Animal Communication

Yesterday, I was Wii-sporting with my 8 year old nephew Elias. We were playing Wii Bowling and having a great time except….I was trying my trusty Wii Bowling technique, that works really well whenever I play with my “Adult” friends.

It hardly ever fails to get me a strike, sometimes 2 or 3 in a row. But I digress, it was not working yesterday. Every time it was my turn, I got up, confident and assured that I could beat an 8 year old kid. And every time I would always hit the splits like the very hard 8 10 split or worse yet gutter balls!

Well then I started noticing my nephew, he held the Wii remote every which way but loose and then ran up to the TV and threw his arm up over his head with a laugh and a yell let the button on the remote and thus the ball FLY!

and you know what?…..

That little guy bowled a strike almost every single TIME!
He was bowling sometimes 2 or 3 and once 4 strikes IN A ROW!

It was stunning to say the least, but then I said to myself
“Self?….why not give it a try? What have you got to lose?, certainly not your pride because he is ahead about 5 hundred points now!” OK I’m exaggerating a BIT.

So the next time it was my turn I told my nephew I am going to pretend I was him, he looked at me, nodded his head and said “That’s a good idea”.

So I stood a few feet away and said to myself “I am Elias, I am 8, I am having fun and just enjoying playing the game” then I ran toward the TV just like Elias, laughing and yelling and I let the bowl fly….

You know what I am going to say next right?

I swear, I bowled a strike…so I continued to bowl like my 8 year old nephew and almost every single time I bowled a strike, it was amazing and I had such fun.

What does this have to do with Animal Communication you ask?…

After the game we collapsed on the couch laughing hysterically.
When we were calmer Elias looked up at me and asked “Coryelle you can talk to animals right?”
I said, “Yes, you know that.”
He nodded his head yes and then looked back up at me and said “well when we talk to them it’s just like that right?”

He meant when we talk to the animals it should be just like Wii bowling, don’t over think it, don’t try to get a strike or to make something happen,
just let it happen and be free about it, laugh, and just enjoy the moment.

I have spoken at after school programs both in Germany and in the States, and at 4H clubs, and always, always the kids know that animal communication is possible, they believe it, there are no doubts (until they get older and they start believing what we tell them).

It’s just them sitting with their cat or dog or guinea pig or hanging out with their horse and talking to the animals and listening to what they have to say.

It is as natural to the children as breathing.

I love working with kids they remind me when I get too into my own head, to just laugh, run up to the TV and let the ball fly!

2008 The Animals & People that changed my life

As I am writing this I really have no Idea what will come out. Right at this moment as I think of the year 2008 and I am awestruck and so appreciative for some many beings that have been and are in my life.

I truly do feel like a butterfly that at the beginning of this year was in a cocoon and as the year progressed grew more and more and then slowly made her way out.

Now I am spreading my wings and ready for the wind to catch me to take me wherever I need to go. This year has had many changes and what I like to call challenges. February my best cat friend of 15 years transitioned. It was a loving time (Please see my post: (“A Lesson from my Cat friend and teacher PC…No Regrets“).

In June during a visit back home, my mother transitioned suddenly (also see the post “My Mother“).

Finally in August, my other cat friend of 22 years Socrates transitioned also. He was a wonderful friend and he also taught me so much that I want to share in another post. My career as an Animal Communicator has taken off and I am loving every single minute of it. I know they are all happy and I see them all together and joyful.

The challenge is not really the transitioning part, it is dealing with them not physically being there. I was smart enough to make a recording of PC purring shortly before she died, she had a wonderful, gentle and healing purr. I listen to this recording whenever I need to, it is a wonderful way to feel like my friend is right next to me again.

The opportunities in my life now are opened and unlimited, they always were but now I just see it more clearly then I did before.

So many wonderful beings that I have been blessed to know and the friends and family that held me up during this year and past years when I really did not think I could go through another challenge. You are all gifts to me. I thank each and every one of you that I am sharing and have shared my life with.

2008 was a wonderful year and year of changes, challenges meeting new friends, making new opportunities, growth, laughs a lot of laughter, tears, and joy incredible, wonderful, delicious joy!

I am excited what I will, what we ALL will create in 2009.

Red Tailed Hawk- Spread Your Wings & Trust Yourself

I received this communication from a spectacular red-tailed hawk on July 26th 2008. The hawk circled 4 times 20 feet above my head, then soared further and further up into the sky.

I remember that I had a lot of things on my mind that day (don’t ask me what, thankfully I have since forgotten them all!) but I do remember having worry, doubts and feelings of being overwhelmed coming up.

As he was flying this is a communication that I received…

“You need to see things from another perspective, you needed to get away from the situation so that you can focus and see clearly, yes, it was indeed a good idea to go for a walk.”
“What should I do?” I said.
The hawk went on “Look at things in your life from on high, try to gain flight and trust that the wind will carry you to where you need to go.”

“Trust, yes that IS a bit of a challenge of late” I said.
The hawk continued.. “I trust, you must learn to trust, not only in the Creator, that is not a problem for you. You need to trust in YOURSELF and what YOU can accomplish and achieve. You said that the Wakan Tanka part of you (I say this when I do my morning greeting of the day).

But you also said that YOU are part of WANKAN TANKA, that was truth! THAT is why we are here.”(I learned a few weeks later what he meant by this statement).
My hawk teacher then said “You are ready to go to the next stage, but if you want to get to the next stage, you must know that to doubt, to worry, to regress to fear, is to doubt yourself, but in doing so you doubt the Creator, you fear the Creator and you worry what the Creator will do. Since we are all connected and a part of the Creator, then you doubt all.”

Suddenly, I felt a door opening somewhere in my mind, I understood! Immediately all those other feelings left me and I felt happy, elated and free! I felt like I was flying, I told how I felt to my hawk teacher.
He then said to me….

“Envision yourself flying when you start to doubt or worry.

That is what the Eagles were telling you when you were kayaking last week on the Lake. Spread your wings and jump, feel yourself flying and trusting and knowing that you will be ok no matter what. Let yourself go and take your power and your strength and fly with them.”

I never forgot that day and what that wonderful being taught me. I now pass on this knowledge to you.

I am being god to myself….

Atlantic Ocean at sunset Cape Cod Mass.

Atlantic Ocean at sunset Cape Cod Mass.

I wrote this to someone in an email yesterday, and did not realize I had, until my friend Robert brought my attention to it today.

What I MEANT to say was
I am being GOOD to myself
But when he commented on what I had written I stopped and thought about it for a moment.
Then I suddenly realized how wonderful and powerful that tiny sentence was.

I am being god to myself

That was exactly what I needed to read, to see and to feel right now in my life, and I had written it as if I was giving a surprise gift to myself.

I am being god to myself.

The animals believe this on an even higher level than we do, and we call ourselves “advanced”.
I believed this as a child, I believed that I was a powerful incredible being that I had no limits to what I could do.
I believed that I was being god to myself.

I believed that all beings on this Earth had the same wonderful power as I did, and remember that I was excited about that knowledge.
I re-kindled the knowledge when I did my vision quest and became a pipe carrier, and when I started to the animal communication.
It became even stronger when I started to read and listen to Abraham-Hicks.
That feeling that the Creator, Source, Universe, God whatever, was a part of me and I was of it.
But, still there are moments where I forget and it takes a so-called “mistake” to make a huge re-discovery in my life.

I am being god to myself.

…..It simply says it all doesn’t it.

My Mom

This is Thanksgiving and I felt the need to get a little more thankful today.
So I thought I would write about my mom.

My mom transitioned in June of 2008, she was someone who was ALWAYS, ALWAYS supportive of my decision to do what I do with the animals, and if my being an animal communicator.

She encouraged me when I was a child to HAVE animals, you name it we had it. There were birds, cats, dogs, a salamander and a modicum of hamsters, these were just a few of the types of animals that shared our home and were loved by us both.

She was always amazed and excited with my telepathic and intuitive abilities, and she brought me this year to Venture Inward, a place that has become for me a real support network of people who are like minded as me. I have given classes in Animal Communication there, and will continue to do so next year.

All because my mom with her wonderful open-mindedness went to a few psychic classes that they gave, loved it, and brought me there as well.

She left me her cat Sammy, the little kitten that I found for her last year, in the doghouse of the abandoned house below ours. He was sitting in that doghouse and waiting for me.

He knew I was coming, his brothers and sisters ran away but he stayed. He looked up his little eyes were crusted and said “Hi! Gee…I am so glad that you finally got here, can we leave now?”

I took him home to my mother, as I had done with so many other animals before. One look and she was in love.

I found Sammy in August of last year, he had so many fleas on him, that when we took him to the vet and they sprayed him, it looked like a black could falling around him.
But my mom did not care she had held him in her arms all the way to the vet and she did the same thing on the way home. She did not care…she was in love.
She would send me pictures of her new boy almost on a daily basis, and I loved it! It was so nice to know that in finding the little kitten I had made my mom unbelievably happy.

Sammy and my mother had eight wonderful months together, I was visiting her and had come April 13th the day before her birthday. She had was we thought was a cold that turned worse and we were told it was bronchitis. We later found out that it was small cell lung cancer.

My mother transitioned at her home 6 days after her diagnosis, that was the 12th of June 2008. She passed with friends and family by her side exactly the way she wanted to go. She passed with her Sammy there too.

I don’t know why I am writing this, but I felt a need to today.
To put down for the World to see the appreciation and thanks that I have for my mother and what she has done for me before and since she transitioned.
I love you Mom.

•••••••••••••••••••••

Now sit quietly in a nice comfy big chair, relax your head, your shoulder, arms, legs and feet.
Listen to the soft music playing in the background, it might be a nice piece with birds chirping,
the sound of a big beautiful waterfall or of rain hitting the windows softly.

You sit quietly and concentrate on your breathing, your chest rises up and down slowly but steadily and you concentrate on your breathing.

You think of a nice safe place with beautiful flowers, trees and the
Sun is just setting over of the trees.

As you look into the distant and hear the ocean feel the sand between your toes, you know you’re not alone.
Then you hear the pitter patter of little feet coming closer, you don’t pay attention to them because they’re not important to you, you think of a wonderful sunset, the breeze on your face and the smell of the ocean fill your lungs

Then you feel the little paws, now you know they’re not in the scene but they are.
You hear “Here we are, what are you doing? Are you asleep?, Why are your eyes closed?”
“If your eyes are closed, is it time for bed? Why are you breathing funny Mom?”
You’re supposed to play with us, Right? I hear the birds, where are the birds? do you see them?
“We’re over here Mom, no we’re over here now, see us?” As you feel them touch your leg, then you arm and then your shoulder.

Mom I’m over here now, as they run up and down the nice comfy chair you’re sitting in.
As you try to get back into thinking about the wonderful ocean and smell the ocean breeze, you smell the aroma of beef and tuna from above your shoulder.

Trying to concentrate and picture yourself walking on the beach again you sense the feeling you are still not alone, but it’s not a guide or a relative you might want to talk to, it’s the feeling of a paw on your forehead seeing if your eyes will move or maybe to check if your dead.

You hear one say “I know she’s alive I can see her chest move and hear her breathe”. “Thank God!”, the other says. “if she was dead who would change our little box or feed us or even make your home happy again.”

You try not to smile or laugh for then they got you.

But then you move an eyelid and your nice wonderful place you have created that has taken many hours of work or years of dedication to your craft is all over with one PAW on the nose.

You know then it’s time, it’s time to play and the meditation you worked so hard on, the wonderful peaceful place you created will have to wait for later or another day because it’s kitty meditation time and that’s play time.

So, with your eyes open and your mind back from the ocean you smile and wiggle your toes and hands and it is time.

Time to meditate with the kittens!

Signed Sarg & Heidi

Prayer From A Blade of Grass

This is a wonderful poem/prayer that was received from a blade of grass.
You see animals are not the only beings that are trying to communicate with us, plants can too.

To all living things:
I am pleased to cross your path today.
Please grant me the peace to breath or touch you.
Please know I love you and need you,
and want to hear you if there is a message to be heard.

Driving Tips That Help Me to Avoid Animals

When people find out that I am a Animal/Species Communicator, many ask me
“How do you feel when you are driving and hit an animal?”  I reply “I have not hit an animal”.

It has been about 14 years since I got my driver’s license. When I first started taking driving lessons, I received a communication/insight about what I should do every time I am in a car.

I have been doing these things ever since. I received my license in 1997, and I have had only one incident of hitting an animal.

I first say a prayer, and it goes… “Creator, and Mother Earth please keep my four-legged (Animals) and winged brother and sisters (Birds) safely away from my car. Please help me to get to my destination..(PUT NAME OF DESTINATION HERE) safely and without incident or accident. Please help all the people that I travel with get to their destinations safely without incidents or accidents. Ho, Mitakuye Oyasin!” (Dakota Sioux for “We are all related”).

Then I do my visualizations. First, I put my favorite flowers (orange or pink Gerbera Daises) all over the car, kind of like giant stickers. The flowers and the colors, for me bring light, happiness and protection for my trip and to my vehicle.

Then, I visualize thick beams of white (or sometimes red) light coming out the driver and front passenger doors extending out about 30 feet out or so from the sides of my car.

Finally, I extend out the beams to about a mile from the front of the car.

I know that the prayer that I say and the visualizations that I do work, but I also know that I have a HUGE belief system in them, so much so, to the point now that I do my prayer and visualizations, no matter what vehicle I am in, from planes, to kayaks, to snowmobiles to bicycles.

This combination makes this strong shield for me.

If my visualization works for you then great! If not, then simply try something else until it becomes something that you are comfortable with and that feels right for you.

What Is Animal Communication? Sometimes It’s a Surprise

I simply love surprises!

I think that is why I enjoy being an animal communicator so much. I never know from day to day, minute to minute what wonderful gems of knowledge, wisdom and humor I will receive from the animals.

The feeling is akin to the same way I felt on Christmas morning BEFORE the presents were opened, when I still did not know what I would be getting.

It the excitement that builds up in my chest and comes out in a big burst of joy.

I am sure that there are many others that feel the same way I as I do. I just needed to write it down today, because the appreciation I feel for being put on this path is astounding and so amazing to me.

The animals give me surprises and gifts in their communications with me every single day.

What a wonderful life this is.

Behavioral Problems? Have you changed a routine lately?

Many people ask me “What is the one of the most common source of problems for domesticated animals”.

My answer is usually it has something to do with a recent change(s) in animal’s routine. Something has changed and your animal is trying to tell you what it is. But since we human-beings can sometimes get caught up and act like human-doings, we do not always hear what the animals are trying to tell us Telepathically.

If a person were trying to tell someone something, and they were not hearing them, they would try to communicate in another way, either by talking louder or by maybe using sign language to say what they were trying to relay.

Animals, if they are not being heard, believe in the old saying “Actions Speak Louder Than Words!” so that is usually the next step for them.

This can come out in many different ways, a horse suddenly bucking their human rider(s), a cat suddenly scratching on a piece of furniture they had previously ignored, an outgoing dog suddenly becoming quiet or suddenly growling or being moody.

These are signs that something may not be quite right, and the change in the routine maybe the culprit.
